Myanmar earthquake response

Atutu is working to deploy our mobile microgrids for rescue organizations and critical community infrastructure serving the earthquake victims. Your support can significantly amplify our impact.

Situation Overview

A destructive 7.7-magnitude quake just struck Myanmar on Friday, March 28, 2025, near the city of Mandalay.

As of March 30th, there have been over 1,700 reported deaths, and at least 3,400 people have been injured and many others are still missing.

There have been severe impacts to communications, transportation, and power.

Tens of thousands of people already live without electricity, and with disrupted phone lines in affected areas, it has made it even more difficult to reach residents.

Atutu’s Role: Providing electricity and supplies to life-saving infrastructure

Atutu has immediately dispatched our emergency response team to support on-going local relief efforts. To ensure communities can equitably rebuild and rest safely, we’re providing electricity from our mobile solar grids to:

+ Emergency centers

+ Rescue teams

+ Command centers

+ Community infrastructure

+ Mobile clinics

+ Hospitals

We’re prioritizing the most vulnerable and hardest-to-reach communities. Responders will be delivering life-saving supplies, including:

+ 24/7 electricity

+ Medical supplies

+ Food & Water

+ Night-time lighting
